The most popular or requested courses will run from April to June 2011. If you would like a particular course that does not appear here or if these times/dates are not suitable please contact us and we will do our best to run a course for you from April to June.

We work very closely with Southdowns College and as a result we run mainly short courses (3-4 weeks) as tasters or for improvers who would like to know a little more than the basics. Southdowns (and other colleges) run much longer courses with a final qualification, these would be suitable for those that have tried our taster and improvers course and would like to take their skills further.

If you would like to enroll on any of these courses please contact the centre to do so. Follow the links on the left for our charges.

As there are so many cameras on the market the first session will be spent looking at the functions on the different cameras that you have. You will then have some time to spend experimenting with these functions and finding out why they are used. Particularly flash, zoom and macros.
Session 2 will be spent looking at a variety of software that can be used on your computer to crop and edit your pictures
Sessions 3 and 4 will planned during week 2 depending on the needs of the group. The emphasis will be either using the pictures or practicing with the camera. Other devices could be looked at including digital photo frames.
