Adult Learning Courses

2011 - 2012 courses can now be booked


We are now working with Hampshire Learning, which allows us to deliver accredited courses as well as our short taster courses.

Another benefit of working with Hampshire Learning is we are able to offer our longer accredited courses free to anyone who, is looking for full time work, or receiving benefit or has no formal ICT qualification. Please contact us for further information.

New activity courses cake decorating, Indian cookery, netball and athletics are available - the bottom of this page.

Introduction to computers word processing, Internet and e-mail **. This is an Accredited course and will be free for any students who are looking for full time work, receive certain benefits or have no IT qualification. The course fee is £42.00 for other students. This course is aimed at beginners.

The shorter 4 week course are £14.00 per course. This should be paid at the start of the first week.

Students at the Acorn Centre can receive 20 hours of free ICT courses, taken between September 2011 and July 2012. Students are expected to complete full 3 week or 8 week courses to qualify.
